Internship
Most important languages in international business
04-07-09

If you are going to do your internship abroad, this article will interest you!

According to a research done by the Steinke Institute of Bonn, which has extrapolated the gross national product of all the countries of the world by year 2025, and then converted it into a value relevant for their respective languages, it emerged some significant results.

Until now, the rank of the most important language in business and in internet provider saw at the first place English, followed by German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

What makes a language important to business, it's partly a matter of target population, and it's partly the affluence of each population and their willingness to do business outside their local communities or nations. So, that's mean that noways American, british and German business are still the biggest one.

But things are changing.

According to that research, indeed, English will maintain its position, but the ranking will have a new entrance (that everybody could easily image): Chinese, that will occupy the second place.

And there are other news: at the third place we have Japanese, then Spanish, German, French, Italian, Russian, Portuguese and Korean. Three of the topo 10 most important languages, so, will be from the far-east.

What does it means: that maybe, after our internship in the UK, we should take a flight to China.
