For sure,everybody of us must do their "work" (especially at the internship, hard work is essential!) but you as an intern want to have a wonderful free time also! To speak the language better, to discover the country, culture and do some activities.

Here I've got some tips, just for you!

1. Go out a lot!
You could find some new Friends! i.e at the Pub, the Club, or just the library.
Plan with your intern-friends a day trip to the museum or just go to the park and hang out.

2. Listen to native speakers!
Probably you are (almost) the whole time around international students - that's great. But also listen to native Speakers, especially when you are in public.

3. Cook together!
Of course you could go the restaurant every day but this could be very expensive after a time period. So just take your new friends to your kitchen and cook together a meal! Maybe something international? It makes fun, the time goes by and you have a delicious free time, also.

4 .Practise makes perfect...
Just read a lot of English Books and start writing. Maybe a diary or an online blog, as long you use the language. Connect Fun with Work!

5. Do some Sports!
Whether it is jogging, swimming or Yoga - Ask for courses in the area where you are working. You might have more free time after your work time - you're probably far away from home, you don't have the daily routine, not another liabilities - enjoy it.

6. Start a "Action"- Night!
That means: Play some English Games or watch English Movies. Go to Cinema! Or the theatre! Have fun.

And the time goes by!
