To approach all this things I am studying "Marketing and Sales" at the university of applied sciences Campus02 in Graz whereby I have chosen the concentration on "International Marketing Management". To finish this practical apprenticeship I am doing an intern ship at internship-uk in New Romney, England, to gain practical experience.
I am here now since 15 days and enjoy my stay here very much. Since I am kind of addicted to traveling, I have already been staying in a lot of hotels and hostels and even bring along experience in working in the tourism field. So it was not difficult for me to get into the topic of gift-tours and studio92.
I am working in the newly established PR department, where we are working on a huge PR campaign at the moment. Therefore we have to develop a strategy, plan the implementation through diverse instruments and write press releases about all the cities studios92 offers accommodation and new musicals, since gift-tours also offers theatre tickets. I really like my tasks, as they are varied and challenging, which is very important for me.
Moreover I think that the establishment of internship-international.com was a good idea, as it is at the one hand nice to share experiences with others and on the other easy to stay in contact with all the friends I found here - especially after the end of the intern ship.
One thing one should know about me is that I want to achieve a lot in life and that I am very ambitious and determined. First of all I want to gain a work experience in several fields of Marketing.. Maybe I am going to take over the company consultancy of my father or establish my own business once but for the next years I am heading towards getting a job in an international company with a big brand in the automotive, clothing or cosmetic sector since I am really interested in brand and product management of those things. It is very important for me to have the possibility to work in foreign countries throughout the world as I think that travelling broadens your horizon and you grow personally a lot from stays abroad because you get to know different cultures, lifestyles, opinions and attitudes.
With success in the job also your budget gets bigger and on this point of talking about what I want to achieve, I admit that I am materialistic, as I want to drive a beautiful car, be able to don't really have to look on prices when going shopping and be able to afford nice holidays in the carribean. :-) it would also be nice to be able to afford an own house at the sea... But seriously, who does not want to have a comfortable live without worrying about money?
I grew up in a little city called Trieben which is located in upper styria, in the centre of Austria. It has just 4000 inhabitants so when you walk though the streets, go for shopping or go for a drink in the evening you know most of the people you meet. This can be very nice because you have nice small talks or can go for a coffee spontaneous because you alsways meet someone nice. You can also enter a pub alone because since there are not that much you know beofre you enter it that you will find some friends in there and who is in which pub or disco. The size of Trieben is also very comfortable because you never have to walk far for anything.
But like everything, this has also two sides. When everybody knows each other people are always chatting because there is not really much else to do, especially for young people.
So when I started studying, I moved from Trieben to Graz to undergo something and start my "new" life as a student and with my own flat. This is now nearly three years ago and I really enjoyed my life in Graz from the first second till now very much. Graz is a typical student city, from 200.000 inhabitants are 50.000 students, so it has a exciting night-life. And although its no really big city it has many theatres, operas, restaurants and attractions. But that's what I really love on Graz, it is beautiful, has everything also metropoles have, is lively and in spite of all that straightforward.
